Dr. Bryan K. Williams is a keynote speaker, consultant, and author, who is a noted authority on service excellence and leadership effectiveness. His passion is to serve others so they may better serve the world. Over the past several years, Bryan has provided training and consulting expertise to hundreds of organizations in over 20 industries ranging from Healthcare to Luxury Hotels. His work with clients has taken him throughout North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Mexico, and the Caribbean.

Bryan’s keynote speeches and seminars have helped organizations create a memorable service experience for their customers. He is a high-energy, dynamic speaker, who educates and inspires professionals to be consistently exceptional. Bryan is the founder of the BW Leadership Academy, the Strong Leader Institute and creator of the BWTV Online Training Series and also a bestselling author of four books – Engaging Service, Work Like You Own It! and How to Serve a VIP.

Prior to this current venture, Bryan worked with the world-renowned Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company for ten years. In his last role, he was the Global Corporate Director of Training & Organizational Effectiveness. Before his corporate assignment, he held over 17 roles with the Ritz-Carlton, beginning as a busboy at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas.

Dr. Williams has earned degrees in Business Administration, and an Associate’s Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, and Adult Education, including Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership.

Bryan was a member of the Board of Examiners for the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program. The Baldrige program administers the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award which is the highest recognition that a U.S. organization can achieve for performance excellence. It is awarded annually by the President of the United States to businesses from all sectors.

Bryan lives with his wife and two children in the Washington DC Metro Area.

Judson Laipply

Judson Laipply promises to do two things: make you laugh and make you think. And for the last seven years, his passion for both has entertained and educated audiences all over the world. Judson is an award-winning speaker and performer who utilizes a phenomenon labeled "Inspirational Comedy" to blend the realities of life with side-splitting humor.

After graduating from Bluffton University with a BA and from Bowling Green State University with a Master's degree, Judson Laipply burst onto the professional speaking scene and has quickly become a breath of fresh air in a sometimes suffocating world. His presentations are down to earth and highly motivational, creative and appealing, humorous and thought provoking, lively and enriching.

Judson's artistic and refreshing approach to viewing life and accepting the changes it brings, combined with his energetic demeanor and playful stage presence, never fails to surprise and inspire audiences. Drawing from his vast array of experiences that include working on a cruise ship, at a camp in Colorado, as a certified Aerobics instructor, as a part- time auctioneer, teaching college courses, being a published poet, and writing a weekly column, he can relate to audiences of all ages from all over the country.

Arthur V. Hill (Art) is the John and Nancy Lindahl Professor in the Supply Chain and Operations Department in the Carlson School of Management. He is also the Academic Director of the Carlson Consulting Enterprise. Until recently, he was the Associate Dean for MBA programs in the Carlson School and the Director for the Supply Chain & Operations Board of Advisors. He has been awarded numerous teaching awards at the Carlson School and was recognized as an outstanding instructor in several national publications including Business Week. He has been a visiting professor at Indiana University, the Moscow Institute of Management, IMD International in Lausanne Switzerland, Wits University in Johannesburg South Africa, the National University of Singapore, and Eastern International University in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam. He has provided operations management consulting for over 100 organizations, including 3M, Best Buy, Boston Scientific, Cargill, Ceridian, CH Robinson, Cummins, Delta Airlines, Donaldson, Dow Chemical, Easter Seals/Goodwill, Ecolab, General Mills, Goodrich, Home Depot, Honeywell, Land O’Lakes, Mayo Clinic, Medtronic, Methodist Hospital, Nestlé, Radisson, Sam Goody, St. Jude Medical, Target, Thomson Reuters, Toro, and US Bank. Amanda Kaiser

Amanda Kaiser learned strategic marketing at Crayola, then went agency-side in the advertising world, and ultimately landed in her beloved association community where she is a member engagement consultant and keynote speaker.

Amanda has worked with dozens of associations large and small, most recently for the International Council on Systems Engineering where leadership is currently using the member research she conducted to increase member engagement. She is like the expedition leader for the association industry with her large data set, and ability to sift through complex issues to find simple, successful actions.

Many associations are facing decreasing memberships, engagement, or participation. Amanda helps association professionals slice through the clutter to see the solutions that will have the most significant outcome for their association. Amanda loves this work because associations have the power to improve their member’s careers and workplaces, so she tells research-backed stories about the issues that matter most to associations and their members.

Tracy Petrillo, EdD, CAE

Tracy Petrillo, EdD, CAE serves as Chief Learning Officer for the Construction Specifications Institute. Dr. Petrillo is the former CEO for the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine, a start-up interprofessional medical society; and, the former Chief Learning Officer for EDUCAUSE serving higher education IT. Tracy is a thought leader in adult learning, digital credentialing, educational technologies, and leadership development. She is outgoing Chair and a member of the ASAE CAE Commission. She was awarded the highest national ASAE honor, the 2016 Professional Performance Award and was named a Changemaker by MeetingsNet magazine. Tracy’s articles have appeared in CalSAE’s, The Executive, the Institute for Credentialing Excellence, ICE Digest and on LinkedIn. She speaks nationally to nonprofit, medical, corporate and higher education audiences and advises on educational strategies that achieve agile, impactful workforces and create member value. Cassie Larson became the Executive Director at the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association in 2012. She began her career in corporate consulting at Accenture (formerly Anderson Consulting) leading training design and development teams in retail software implementations for companies such as JC Penney, Gap, Kohl’s and Best Buy. She was prompted to try non-profit work after her experience in corporate America, which led her to an association management company where she organized educational programming and trade shows for medical associations across the globe. A passion for association management led her to MNLA’s doorstep in June 2004. She serves on the Board of Directors for both Associations North and the Nursery and Landscape Association Executives and holds the CAE designation from ASAE.
