As associations focus on inclusion internally – at the staff and governance level – or as it relates to Board recruitment and external partners, associations are at the forefront of ensuring a more inclusive society. Building on the research from FSAE’s 2018 diversity and inclusion study, this webinar will explore national trends in the association industry and offer recommendations for addressing areas that need improvement.

Key Take-Aways: Participants will learn how associations address diversity and inclusion issues in the workplace and within their leadership. Participants will also explore the development of soft skills through diversity coaching to meet the needs of this action area.

Presenters: Jim Zaniello and James Pogue
Jim Zaniello, FASAE, is president and founder of Vetted Solutions, a specialist executive search firm. Zaniello possesses a unique understanding of the executive search process, developed through over 25 years of recruiting and association experience.
James Pogue
, Ph.D is CEO, James Pogue Enterprises. After spending nearly 10 years in Higher Education as a Researcher, Professor and Administrator focusing on issues of Diversity and Inclusion, Dr. Pogue expanded his work to include Multi-Generational Leadership, with the goal of helping companies recruit and retain Millennials and now Generation Z.

Join the live program from your office, home, or hotel room using a computer for the web portion and telephone for the audio portion. You may ask questions, participate in surveys, and post comments from your computer during the program. You may also invite colleagues to watch the program from a shared computer or projection screen and speakerphone. Please note that credit (if available) is only provided to registered attendees participating at their own computer and phone.
